Tables at Nitida is a wonderful family restaurant for a casual breakfast or lunch located on the Nitida Wine Estate in the Durbanville Wine Valley.
There is a welcoming atmosphere to this restaurant situated in the heart of the estate with a farm feel and views of the surrounding valley. They have a large outdoor seating area and indoor seating with a fireplace for winter.
The menu is Mediterranean offering a range of tasty treats and meals from freshly baked muffins, cakes, gourmet salads and burgers, a variety of home cooked meals and mezze, cheese and meat platters. On the kiddies menu are all the favourites including ice cream and chocolate sauce for dessert. Their emphasis is on serving natural, healthy tasty meals and I have found this to be true on many occasions and have had many enjoyable many meals with the family and friends at this al fresco style cafe.
There is a kids play area on the lawn next to the restaurant with a wooden jungle gym and swings and lots of space for them to play and kick a ball.
I always enjoy visiting this charming restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere, friendly service and the kids have a great time playing on the lawn, jungle gym and chasing chickens.
