Millhouse Kitchen at Lourensord Wine Estate

The Millhouse Kitchen is located on the picturesque Lourensford Wine Estate nestled at the foot of the majestic Hottentots Holland and Helderberg Mountains. This superb, child-friendly restaurant is very welcoming and accommodating to families, and is ideal for small children with plenty of space to roam and play.

There is a large, secure garden for the kids to run wild and three natural wood jungle gyms for them to play on and burn off all that energy. There are high chairs if required and they provide colouring in pages and crayons if you little ones prefers to sit with you at the table.

The restaurant’s interior is modern with a fresh appeal and there is seating inside and outside on both sides. On one side there is a deck overlooking the estate ponds and on the other side is the secure garden with jungle gyms (so ensure when booking to request a table near the kids play area if you are taking the kids). This is an effective layout to suit those looking for a quiet meal with friends and perfect for families with children.

The menu is inspired by French and Italian rustic dishes and has an extensive selection of pastas, risotto, meat, veal, fish dishes and creative gourmet wood-fired pizzas which are delicious and very popular. Kids can choose from toasties, pizza, pasta, lamb burger, pork bangers and crumbed chicken. The food is delicious and of exceptional quality.

This restaurant is a great find for all but especially for families with young children where mom and dad can relax while enjoying a delicious meal and the kids are having fun.
