Leopard’s Leap Family Vineyards

Walking into Leopard’s Leap is a breath of fresh air with its beautiful, airy and light modern design. It is a wonderful space, beautifully designed with the modern world in mind. Situated in the stunning Franschhoek Valley with beautiful views through floor to ceiling glass windows that line the restaurant, this is the perfect space for a family lunch outing. The restaurant serves an informal and hearty Rotisserie Lunch from Wednesday to Sunday.

There is a play area outside with two jungle gyms, in view of the restaurant tables, and plenty of lawn space for the kids to run wild and play ball games, so come prepared.

The Rotisserie Lunch consists of simple, fresh and seasonal food, full of flavour beautifully complimented by Leopard’s Leap wines. Every detail is taken care of by passionate head Chef Pieter de Jager with a variety of tender, juicy meats cooked to succulent perfection served from the state-of-the-art Rotisol spit including his famous Pork Belly. On the Harvest Table you will find a selection of seasonal salads and vegetables sourced from the biologic vegetable and herb garden on the farm.

Dessert consists of individual mini portions of delights such as Chocolate Mousse, Peppermint Crisp Dessert, Tiramisu, Chocolate Brownies and Cheesecake.

This is a great setup for parents with young kids as you can eat at your own pace and the spacious restaurant is ideal for large groups and celebrations. The way it works is when you are ready to start you collect a plate at the Harvest Table, select your salads and veggies, then your plate is weighed, then you select the meat of your choice. It is completely up to you if you would prefer to eat in stages and have salads first, and then meat, and you may return as many times as you like. Your plate is weighed each time. There is a separate menu for kids. The food is delicious and prices are reasonable.
