    Haute Cabriere

    Embraced by the Franschhoek Mountains the extraordinary winery Haute Cabriere is comprised of two farms and home of Pierre Jourdan Wines. The Haute Cabriere Tasting Centre, adjacent to the Haute Cabriere Restaurant, is an auditorium within the Pinot Noir barrel maturation cellar providing visitors an exclusive wine experience and the opportunity to sample wines in their natural habitat. Both Haute Cabriere and Pierre Jourdan Wines can be sampled here. There is an option to sit outside while tasting and take in the scenic views of the valley. They primarily grow Chardonnay and Pinot Noir varietals and also produce Methode Cap Classique wines. Every Saturday visitors will have the opportunity to embark on the ultimate wine journey through Haute Cabriere’s history and wine philosophy. The fine dining Haute Cabriere Restaurant provides a five star culinary journey serving a seasonal menu and comes high acclaimed.

     

    Rickety Bridge

    The charming Rickety Bridge estate is nestled against the hillside of the Franschhoek valley overlooking beautiful vineyards and the magnificent Wemmershoek Mountain range. The estates history dates back to the 17th century with a feeling of timeless nostalgia but will all the modern comforts. They have recently renovated their tasting room into a modern, comfortable space providing a relaxed setting for tasting their award-winning wines. Paulina’s Restaurant serves a seasonal menu with a gourmet picnic menu in summer and a hearty winter menu including soups, stews and curries. The renovated Rickety Bridge Manor House provides luxury accommodation.

     

    Grande Provence (Child-friendly)

    The elegant Grande Provence is situated in the Franschhoek Valley, radiating with beauty, surrounded by mountains and vineyards. It certainly is as Grande as her name and will provide visitors with a unique and memorable experience. The estate is rich in heritage, dating back over 300 years, and boasts beautiful Cape Dutch Architecture. The estates award-winning wines can be sampled in their stylish tasting room where they serve a tapas menu. The Taste of Grande Provence is a unique Canapé and Wine Pairing experience, the collaboration between the Executive chef and Winemaker. Advanced bookings are required.

    The Restaurant at Grande Provence is one of the finest in the country offering a fine dining experience.     Leopard’s Leap (Child-friendly)

    Walking into Leopard’s Leap is a breath of fresh air with its beautiful, airy and light modern design. It is a wonderful space, beautifully designed with the modern world in mind.
