Exploring at Imhoff Farm

Imhoff Farm is the perfect destination for a family outing and great fun for all. My family and I love exploring at the farm, having a meal at Blue Water Café, visiting the petting zoo Higgeldy Piggeldy Farmyard and always stop in at the Farm Shop to buy some Deli delights.

Blue Water Cafe

The Blue Water Café is a lovely, relaxed family friendly restaurant and the perfect place to have a meal with the kids. The restaurant has spectacular oceans views overlooking Noordhoek Beach. Set in a secure garden, so mom and dad can relax, the little ones can roam and explore the child friendly garden. They have a fairy-tale, Magical Faraway Tree with a treehouse and slide for the kids to play in. I think this is really special and I have not seen this anywhere else. Such great fun for the kids to climb up into the tree and play. There is also a jungle gym with swings and monkey bars. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pizzas are a popular choice and are delicious. They serve wheat free pizzas too. This is a great location to relax with busy toddlers.

Higgeldy Piggeldy Farmyard

The Higgeldy Piggeldy Farmyard is one of the best petting zoos I have seen. There is an entrance from the garden at Blue Water Café. It is amazing and huge with lots of animals to pet and feed. The kids will absolutely love it. Mine did and we spent ages walking around, feeding the animal and having a good laugh at some of them too, especially the ducks and emu. There are pigs, goats, sheep, ducks, geese, chicken, rabbits, guinea pigs, rabbits, cows, emus, alpacas and springbok.

On the farm you will also find…

Snake Park

The Snake Park is a reptile rehabilitation centre and sanctuary and contributes to saving species from extinction and protecting the natural environment they depend on. You will have the opportunity to learn many interesting facts about the animals. Open seven days a week from 9am – 5pm.

Imhoff Equestrian Centre

Enjoy a guided beach ride on Noordhoek Beach. For children over 12 years of age from beginners to advanced. Rides are approximately 1 hour 45 minutes. Bookings essential. Tel: 082 774 1191
