Noordhoek Beach is extremely popular for horse riding and there are various companies in the area offering a beach ride including the Equestrian Centre at Imhoff Farm (for children 12 years and older from beginners to advanced).
If you have a mountain bike and would like to explore the mountain biking trails of Cape Town there are plenty of options around the Cape Peninsula and Winelands. If you are not familiar with the mountain biking trails you can arrange a tour. There are also companies that rent mountain bikes.

Get up close and personal with Great White Sharks. Boats depart from Gansbaai, approximately 2 hours from Cape Town, but tours will include travel from Cape Town. Look for a company endorsed by the Tourism Bureau.
