Enjoy a cruise on board one of the many boats at the V&A Waterfront and take in the scenic views of Table Mountain. There are different types of boats and lengths of cruises to choose from. I suggest trying a sunset champagne cruise, the perfect way to end the day.

Noordhoek Beach is extremely popular for horse riding and there are various companies in the area offering a beach ride including the Equestrian Centre at Imhoff Farm (for children 12 years and older from beginners to advanced). 

Mountain biking

If you have a mountain bike and would like to explore the mountain biking trails of Cape Town there are plenty of options around the Cape Peninsula and Winelands. If you are not familiar with the mountain biking trails you can arrange a tour. There are also companies that rent mountain bikes. 


Experience breathtaking views along the Atlantic Seaboard or depart from Simon’s Town and kayak with
the adorable African penguins at Boulders Beach.

Kite Surfing and Kite Boarding

Cape Town is known worldwide to be the perfect location for kite surfing with its consistent winds and ideal locations. 

Shark Cage Diving 

Get up close and personal with Great White Sharks. Boats depart from Gansbaai, approximately 2 hours from Cape Town, but tours will include travel from Cape Town. Look for a company endorsed by the Tourism Bureau.

Skydiving Skydiving

Need I say more? The ultimate for the adrenalin junkies. Experience one of the best views in the world from the skies. The drop zone is located on the West Coast of Cape Town.
