    Blue Train Park

The iconic, Blue Train in Mouille Point is a must for all kids. It’s been around for over 55 years, I used to ride it as a kid, and the kids love it. Situated in between the Atlantic Ocean and Table Mountain, Lions Head and Signal Hill you could not ask for a more picturesque location. The small fee generates funds for the Rotary Club of Sea Point projects, so its not only fun but for a good cause too. There is a huge, secure garden with lots of jungle gyms, slides, bike track, rock-climbing wall, zipline, skating rink and lots more. This play park is sure to keep the little ones busy for hours. The park is closed on Mondays.

The Adventure Play Park is for older kids, they say from 7 – 16 but my 4 year old plays there and loves it. On the weekends you need to be cautious with the little ones as it gets very busy and the older children tend to be more boisterous, and the younger kids are not as competent. Click here to read more.
